Resetting a forgotten windows password

1.First simple trick

During the installation of a Microsoft windows operating system it automatically creates an administrators account and set its password to blank

• Start your computer when you see the log in screen press <ctrl>+<alt>+<del> keys twice and it will show a classic log in box
• In the username type administrator and leave the password blank then press enter and you should be able to log in

•  Now reset your password through "control panel >> user accounts"  

2.By using a reset disk

You can reset your computer using a reset disk if u have already set it before.
Setting a reset disk follow the following steps

• Click start go to control panel
• Select user accounts
• On the top right side select create a password reset disk
• Follow the emerging wizard to create your reset disc

• Enter your wrong password when a small window "your password is incorrect" appears click OK
• Click reset window then insert windows then insert windows password reset disk or any other removable media if possible
• Log on with the new password

3.By using command prompt

• Boot your computer with a window CD and click repair
• Follow through until you get  the option to open commands prompt then select it
• On the command prompt type the following code to back up the original stiky key files

                     c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe c:\

• To copy the command prompt executable over the top of stiky key executable type this code

                     c:windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\seth.exe

• Reboot your computer without a window CD 
• when the log on screen appears hit the shift key 5 times and the administrators mode of command prompt will appear
• To reset your password type the following on command prompt replacing user and password

           net user michael mynewpassword
         where you have to replace michael with your user name and mynewpassword with the newpassword of your choice
